South Eastern University of Sri Lanka The South Eastern University of Sri Lanka is 10th of the National University among the 15 National universities of Sri Lanka. It was stared on October 1995 at Addalacheni where is the one of coastal area of the Ampara District. The person who was the founder of the University is known as Later Hon. Dr .A.H.M.Asruf( One of Minister who represent Eastern Province) ලංකාෙව් ජාතික විශ්වවීද්යාල පද්ධතියට 10 වැනි විශ්වවිද්යාලය ලෙස එක් වු අග්න්දිග විශ්වවිද්යාලය 1995 ආරම්භ කරන ලදි. අම්පාර දිස්ත්රික්කයේ ඔලුවිල් ප්රදේශයේ පිහිටා අැති අග්න්දිග විශ්වවිද්යාලය ආරම්භය හිටපු දිගාමඩුල්ල දිස්ත්රික් අමාත්ය වරයෙක් වු ගරැ ආචාර්ය A.H.M අෂ්රප් මැතිතුමාගේ මැදිහත් වීමෙන් සිදුකර ඇත.
